Dermal Fillers

Dermal fillers are gel-like substances made of hyaluronic acid (HA) that restore and add volume to the skin and facial contours, creating a more youthful appearance. They are longer-lasting than anti-wrinkle treatments and are ideal for smoothing lines, firming facial structures, and defining features such as lips. Static lines and volume loss are best treated with dermal fillers, which provide temporary results and require repeated applications over time.

• A local anaesthetic cream is applied prior to treatment to minimise discomfort, although dermal fillers also contain anaesthetic.
• The area is injected with a fine needle several times, followed by gentle massage to ensure a smooth result.
• The procedure takes up to 30 minutes, and results typically last 6–12 months.
