7 Days Before
• Avoid Blood Thinners: If possible (and if not prescribed by a doctor), avoid taking Aspirin or Ibuprofen. These can increase your risk of bruising.
• Supplements: Avoid Vitamin E, Ginkgo Biloba, and Ginseng for one week prior.
24–48 Hours Before
• Alcohol: Please avoid alcohol for at least 24 hours before your treatment, as it thins the blood and can significantly increase swelling and bruising.
• Arnica: Some clients find that taking Arnica tablets 2 days before treatment helps reduce the risk of bruising.
On the Day of Treatment
• Come "Fresh Faced": If possible, please arrive with no makeup on the area being treated. Don't worry if you're coming from work—we have clinical-grade cleanser here to prep your skin!
• Eat & Hydrate: Make sure you’ve had a light meal and are well-hydrated. This helps prevent you from feeling lightheaded during the procedure.
• Avoid Caffeine: Try to limit caffeine on the day of your appointment to help you stay relaxed.
A Quick Note on Cold Sores
• If you are prone to cold sores and are booking a Lip Filler appointment, please start an antiviral medication (like Zovirax) 2-3 days before your treatment. Injections can sometimes trigger an outbreak.

• Stay Upright: Try to remain upright for at least 4 hours after anti-wrinkle injections.
• Heat & Exercise: Avoid strenuous exercise, saunas, steam rooms, and very hot showers for 24–48 hours. Heat can increase swelling and blood flow to the area.
• Alcohol: Avoid alcohol for 24 hours to minimise bruising.
Specific Advice for Fillers
• Swelling & Bruising: This is completely normal! Swelling usually peaks the morning after treatment. Use a clean, cold compress (not ice directly on the skin) for 10 minutes at a time to help.
• Lumps: The filler may feel slightly firm or "lumpy" for the first 2 weeks. This is usually just swelling or the product settling. Please do not massage them; they will soften naturally.
• Makeup: Please wait at least 12 hours before applying makeup to the injection sites to prevent infection.
When to See Results
• Anti-Wrinkle: Results start to appear in 3–5 days, with the full effect at 14 days.
• Fillers: You see the results immediately, but the "final" look won't be visible for 2 weeks once all swelling has subsided.
🚩 When to Contact Me Immediately
Safety is my priority. Please call or message me right away if you experience:
• Extreme Pain: Pain that is getting worse rather than better.
• Skin Discolouration: If the skin looks pale/white, mottled (lace-like), or dark purple/blue in a way that doesn't look like a normal bruise.
• Heat/Redness: If the area feels hot to the touch or looks increasingly red several days later.

The Botox Journey: Your 14-Day Timeline
Please remember: Botox is a "slow-release" treatment. Patience is key to seeing your final refreshed look!
Days 1–2: The "Settling" Phase
• What you see: Your skin will likely look exactly as it did before. You may have tiny, mosquito-bite-like bumps immediately after the injection, but these usually vanish within an hour.
• What’s happening: The Botox is beginning to bind to the nerve endings in your muscles. It is working hard under the surface, even if you can't see it yet.
• Tip: Avoid rubbing the area or wearing tight hats/headbands.
Days 3–5: The "First Signs"
• What you see: You might start to feel a slight "tightness" or a heavy sensation in the treated area (especially the forehead).
• The Change: When you try to frown or lift your brows, you’ll notice they don't move quite as much as they did yesterday. Fine lines around the eyes (Crow's Feet) often start to soften first.
• Tip: Don’t worry if one side starts working slightly faster than the other—this is completely normal!
Days 6–10: The "Smoothing" Phase
• What you see: This is the "Wow" window. Your skin will start to look polished and glowing.
• The Change: Deep "11" lines between the brows and horizontal forehead lines will appear much shallower. Your makeup will likely sit smoother on your skin without creasing into lines.
• Tip: You may feel like your facial expressions are a little "different" as you adjust to the muscle relaxation.
Days 11–14: The "Full Effect"
• What you see: This is your peak result. The muscles are now fully relaxed, and the skin above them has had time to smooth out.
• The Change: Your face looks refreshed, rested, and youthful. Any initial unevenness usually balances out by Day 14.
• Tip: This is the point where we check if you need a small "top-up." If you feel you still have too much movement in a specific spot, now is the time to contact the clinic.
Quick Aftercare Summary for your Clients:
• First 4 Hours: Stay upright (no lying down or bending over) and don't touch your face.
• First 24 Hours: No "sweaty" exercise, no saunas/hot tubs, and no alcohol.
• First 2 Weeks: No facials, facial massages, or chemical peels.

Your Dermal Filler Journey: The 14-Day Timeline
Dermal fillers provide instant volume, but your true, settled result takes time. Here is what to expect as your body heals.
Day 1: The "Immediate" Result
• What to expect: You will see an immediate change in volume and shape. However, the area may feel tender, look slightly red, and you might see tiny "mosquito bite" bumps at the injection sites.
• Pro-Tip: Avoid alcohol and salt today, as both can worsen the swelling you’ll see tomorrow!
Days 2–3: The "Peak Swelling" Phase
• What to expect: This is usually the most dramatic stage. The treated area (especially the lips) may look much larger than you intended, and you might notice some asymmetry where one side is more swollen than the other.
• The Feel: The filler may feel firm, tight, or slightly "lumpy" under the skin.
• Pro-Tip: Don't panic! This is just your body’s inflammatory response. Use a cool compress and stay hydrated.
Days 4–7: The "Settling" Phase
• What to expect: Swelling begins to drop significantly (usually by about 50-70%). Any bruising may change color (turning yellow or green) as it begins to fade.
• The Feel: The area will start to feel softer and more integrated with your natural tissue.
• Pro-Tip: You can now start to see the real shape emerging. If you have any minor bruising left, it can usually be covered with mineral makeup now.
Days 8–13: The "Integration" Phase
• What to expect: Most visible side effects like redness and bruising should be gone. The filler is now binding with the water in your skin to "plump" from within.
• The Feel: Any small lumps or "firm spots" usually smooth out during this week as the product fully integrates.
• Pro-Tip: This is the time to start taking your "After" photos!
Day 14: The "Final Reveal"
• What to expect: Your results are now settled. The swelling is 100% gone, and the tissue is soft and natural-looking.
• The Next Step: This is the point where we conduct your follow-up review. We never make "tweaks" or add more filler before Day 14, as we need to see the true, settled result first.
🚩 When to call the clinic immediately:
While swelling and bruising are normal, please contact [Your Name/Phone] right away if you experience:

Polynucleotides are biological molecules (chains of nucleotides) derived from purified DNA fractions. When injected into the skin, they act as "biostimulators." They signal your cells to repair damage, increase collagen production, and improve the overall health of the skin tissue.
Polynucleotides work through three primary mechanisms:
How is this different from Profhilo? While Profhilo is a high-concentration Hyaluronic Acid designed for intense hydration and a "glow," Polynucleotides are focused on repair. They are better suited for specific concerns like dark circles, scarring, or significant loss of elasticity.
When will I see results? Regeneration takes time. While you may notice an improvement in hydration quickly, the full structural benefits usually appear 4–6 weeks after your second treatment.
Is there any downtime? Minimal. You may experience slight swelling or bruising, but most clients return to their normal activities the following day.
Medical Disclaimer: Polynucleotide treatments are medical procedures. They are not suitable for individuals with a known fish allergy (as the DNA is often salmon-derived) or those who are pregnant or breastfeeding. A full medical consultation is required.

Unlike dermal fillers, which stay in one place to create volume, Profhilo is designed to flow like honey through the skin layers to stimulate receptors and improve hydration and firmness across the entire face or neck.
Profhilo works in two phases:
Profhilo is perfect for anyone over the age of 30 who has noticed their skin becoming a little "lax" or lacking its usual radiance. It is particularly effective for the face, neck, décolletage, and even the tops of the hands.
Medical Disclaimer: Profhilo is a medical-grade treatment. It is not suitable for those who are pregnant, breastfeeding, or have active skin infections in the treatment area. A consultation is required to ensure it is the right choice for your skin goals.

Dermaplaning is a safe and highly effective physical exfoliation procedure. It involves using a sterile, medical-grade surgical scalpel to gently shave the surface of the skin, removing the outermost layer of dead skin cells along with fine vellus hair, commonly known as "peach fuzz."
By clearing away the buildup of dead skin and hair, dermaplaning reveals the fresh, healthy skin underneath. This process creates a perfectly smooth "canvas," allowing your skincare products to penetrate deeper and your makeup to sit flawlessly without clumping or looking "cakey."
"Will my hair grow back thicker or darker?"
The Answer is No. Dermaplaning does not affect the hair follicle or the growth cycle. Vellus hair (peach fuzz) is physiologically different from the thick terminal hair on your head or underarms. When the hair grows back, it will have the exact same color and texture as before.
Your skin will be fresh and more sensitive to the environment immediately after treatment.
Dermaplaning is suitable for most skin types, especially those with dry or rough skin. It is a fantastic alternative for pregnant or nursing women who want deep exfoliation but need to avoid chemical peels.
Clinical Note: Dermaplaning is not recommended for those with active cystic acne, sunburn, or extremely sensitive skin conditions like active rosacea flare-ups. A quick skin analysis will be performed prior to your treatment.
A chemical peel is a resurfacing treatment where a specific acid solution is applied to the skin to remove damaged top layers. This process stimulates the transition of fresh, new skin cells to the surface and kickstarts the production of collagen and elastin.

The "peel" solution lowers the pH of the skin, which breaks the biological "glue" (desmosomes) holding dead skin cells together. Once these cells are shed, the skin underneath appears smoother, clearer, and more evenly toned.
Your "new" skin is delicate and must be protected:
Chemical peels can be customized for almost every skin type and tone. They are the "gold standard" for anyone struggling with congestion, dullness, or the early signs of aging.
Clinical Note: A full skin consultation and "patch test" may be required 24–48 hours before your first treatment. This ensures your skin reacts beautifully to the chosen acid strength.

These invisible channels trigger your body’s natural healing response, leading to a surge in the production of collagen and elastin.
Microneedling is suitable for almost all skin types and tones. It is ideal for anyone looking to treat "pitting" from old acne, fine lines, or skin that has lost its "bounce."
Clinical Note: Microneedling is not suitable for those with active cystic acne, skin infections, or those currently taking certain blood-thinning medications. A full consultation is required to assess your suitability.
